Haryana Govt. to build 10 lakh houses for poor in the state
Haryana government has decided to construct 10 lakh houses for the poor to come in six years. This decision was taken by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar a meeting of shelter for all with increased economic houses of area rug lower section of 30 square meters to 50 square meters under different regimes.
According to the news, the CM issued directions for the creation of an action plan to analyze the price of goods on the market to decide the price of houses built for the category EWS, LIG and BPL people. The CM also directed the official to sell vacant houses.
Indications are that the government will launch a study in the physical sate identify the number of families that existing homes in rural and urban areas. In addition, a list will be established for those families who are either living in Kutcha or dilapidated houses. These types of families will be classified in the Housing for All scheme.
According to reports, about 17.45 lakh houses in urban areas while 29.61 lakh houses in rural areas, a total of 47.6 lakh houses are in the state. Approximately 83,536 houses were built by the council housing.
The Indian government has approved nine cities Faridabad Haryana, Karnal, Hisar, Yamunanagar, Rohtak, Gurgaon, Sonepat, Panipat and Sirsa in phase I under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
